    The volume of a pyramid is

    V = (1/3) bh

    where h is the hieght of the pyramid

    b is the area of the base which is s^2 because it is square

    since you did give the length of the axis, the problem cannot be solved

    but the process is by fisrt solving the height

    h = Lsin (45)

    where L is the length of the axis

    then subsitute to the V = 1/3 bh
