If two dice are rolled, what is the probability that one of them shows a 6 and the sum of the dice is an odd number?

    The probability of showing a 6 is 1/6. The other dice has to show a 1, 3 or 5. The probability for that is 3 * 1/6 = 3/6 = 1/2. The resulting probability would be 1/6*1/2 = 1/12.
