If one of a right measures 3 centimeters and the other leg measure 6 centimeter, what is the length of the hypotenuse in centimeters?

    A^2 + b^2 = c^2 ... a and b r the legs and c is the hypotenuse

    3^2 + 6^2 = c^2

    9 + 36 = c^2

    45 = c^2

    sqrt 45 = c

    3 sqrt 5 = c ... or 6.71 = c
