10%=0.1

12.99-12.99x0.1=11.691

But we don't have 0.001 in the money.

So, change 11.691 to 11.69

At store 2, 1 shirt for $11.69.

11.69x2=23.38

23.38>22

So, store 1 is cheaper.

2. 55%=0.55

20.98-20.98x0.55=9.441

Change 9.441 to 9.44.

9.44x2=18.88

18.88<22<23.38

So store 3 have a better deal than the other stores.

Store 2

$12.99 x 10% = 1.30

12.99 - 1.30 = 11.69 per shirt

If you buy the shirt at Store 1, you will save $.69 per shirt.

Store 3

$20.98 x. 55 = 11.54

20.98 - 11.54 = 9.44

Store 3 has the best deal with the shirts only costing $9.44
