Joseph bought some t-shirts and a pair of trousers. He bought 4 t-shirts that each cost the same amount of money and the cost of a pair of trousers is $17. Joseph spent less than $35 altogether. Which inequality can be used to find the cost of each t-shirt?

    35-17 = 18 so 18 divided by 4 is $4.50 each shirt
