    U have an arithmetic sequence with a common difference of 6.

    an = a1 + (n - 1) * d

    n = term u r looking for = 50

    a1 = first term = - 4

    d = common difference = 6

    now we sub

    a50 = - 4 + (50 - 1) * 6

    a50 = - 4 + 49 * 6

    a50 = - 4 + 294

    a50 = 290

    so the 50th term is 290
