A family has two cars. During one particular week, the first car consumed

gallons of gas. The two cars drove a combined total of

miles, and the sum of their fuel efficiencies was

miles per gallon. What were the fuel efficiencies of each of the cars that week?

    25x+40 (45-x) = 1350

    Solve for x

    X=30 for the second car

    45-30=15 for the first car
