The football team has a total of 50 jerseys. There are 15 medium-sized jerseys. What percent of the jerseys are medium-sized jerseys?

    All you have to do is divide the medium sized jerseys by the total number of jerseys and multiply by 100.

    15/50*100=30%

    I would make a proportion for this so (15/50) = (x/100), the x will give you the percentage. Cross multiply to get 50x=1500, then divide both sides by 50, so 30% is your answer because 1500/50=30 so x=30
