Are the lines y=-x-2 and 4x+4y=16 perpendicular? Explain

    No, they are not perpendicular because 4x+4y=16 equals y=-x+4 in slope-intercept form.

    Two lines are perpendicular if their slopes product is - 1.

    -1*-1=1 it is not - 1.
