    We need to use the pythgorean therum (or however it is spelled)

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ... where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse

    9^2 + b^2 = 15^2

    81 + b^2 = 225

    b^2 = 225 - 81

    b^2 = 144 ... take square root of both sides, eliminating the ^2

    b = sqrt 144

    b = 12

    so ur other leg is 12 cm

    12 cm

    Using the pythagorean theorem, it is possible to find the length of the remaining leg.

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    In this case c=15 and a=9.

    Solve for b and you get 12, which is your answer.
