What is the solution to the inequality 5 (x-2) (x+4) >0

    Divide by 5 and you are left with:

    (x-2) (x+4) >0 for this to be true both terms need to be positive or both negative:

    x>2 and x<-4

    So the inequality is true for x = (-oo, - 4), (2,+oo)
