    (1/7) cm / (1/8) min = (0.14) cm / (0.25) min = 1.1 cm/min

    (1cm) / (1.1cm/min) = 0.9 min

So it conclusion, the answer is:

It takes the snail 0.9 minutes to travel 1 centimeter.

It will take 7/8 of a minute because you just multiply 1/8 by 7
