Mr. Parker's grocery bill before paying sales tax was $98. The final amount he had to pay was $103.88. What is the sales tax percentage that Mr. Parker paid?

    98x = 103.33

    x = 103.33 / 98

    x = 1.05438%

    Note that if you round it to 1.05%, while not incorrect if you multiply 98*1.05, it won't calculate properly. That is why I've left the extra decimals.
