I am having trouble figuring out this question on my math homework. "A right triangle ABC has height 4 cm, hypotenuse h cm, and perimeter p cm. Express h as a function of p."

    Use the pythagorean theorem:

    H^2=p^2+16

    Solve for h by square rooting everything

    H=p+4

    There is a function of p that gives you h.
