    The distance formula is distance (d) = rate (r) x time (t). In this problem we are trying to find the distance and we are given the rate which in this case is 66.8 feet per minute * 2 and the time is 30 minutes. We can substitute this into our equation we get:

    D = 133.6 x 30. When we multiply this out we get D = 4008 ft.
