A prime number is any number that is evenly divisible by only itself and 1. Really only due to convention we choose not to call 1 itself a prime, so the number after 1 is 2. Is 2 a prime?

    2 / 2 = 1

    2 / 1 = 2

Yep. So the next prime is 2.

Next, 100% of anything can be simply seen as the integer 1.

    So, 54% of x is 0.54x, 67% of x is 0.67x, and so on.

    Thus, 0.88 is 88%
