    2 (4z-9-7) = 166-46 well, perentices (however u spell these things) first, - 9-7 = - 16 so 2 (4z-16) = 166-46 and distributive property so 8z-32=166-46, 166-46 = 120, so 8z-32=120, add 32 to both sides, which would be 8z=152 divide both by 8, z=19
