The Windows on a building are proportional to size of the building. the height of each window is 18in and the width is 11 in. if the height of the building is 108ft what is the width of the building

    What your doing is setting up a proportion that of the windows (18x11) dimensions and the buildings (108xW) dimensions.

    So it would be 18/11=108/x

    you would cross multiply so you would have 11x108 (1188) = 18x

    Divide by 18 so x=66
