    Assuming this is what you mean:

    2x + 3y = 9

    x - 2y = 1

    -2 (x - 2y = 1)

    -2x + 4y = - 2

    2x + 3y = 9

    7y = 7

    y = 1

    2x + 3 (1) = 9

    2x + 3 = 9

    2x = 6

    x = 3

    Solution (3, 1)
