how do I do find the answer.

    2. (x + 4) > 6

    - 4 - 4

    3. x > 6

    1. rewrite problem on scratch paper

    2. to get x by itself you'd subtract 4 from itself and 6

    3. the final answer should be x is greater than 6

    so basically any number greater than 6 Is equal to x { etc. 7, 8, 9 ... }. To check if your problem is correct plug in any number greater than 6 in place of x. If the new equation equals a number greater than 6 you are correct
