    The number of square units for the area is ...

    a = length * width

    A = 10 * 10 = 100 units ^2

    The number of units for perimeter is ...

    perimeter = 4 * length

    perimeter = 40 units

    The number of square units for area is larger.

    *note - Since we have a square, we know all side Lengths are the same.
