    A) x + y = 7

    B) x - 2y = - 5

    Multiplying equation A by 2

    A) 2x + 2y = 14 then adding it to B

    B) x - 2y = - 5

    3x = 9

    x = 3

    y = 4

    So, (3,4) is a solution.
