- (x-1) (x+9) = 0

4x^2 = 13

    3x^2-6x=0

    According to the zero product property:

    If a * b = 0, then either a = 0 or b = 0

    If - (x-1) (x+9) = 0, then either x - 1 = 0 or x + 9 = 0
