    X intercept is where the line crosses the x axis or where y=0

    y intercept is where the line crosses the y axis or where x=0

    basically:

    to find xint, set y=0 and solve

    to find yint, set x=0 and solve

    y=60x+300

    xint, y=0

    0=60x+300

    minus 300

    -300=60x

    divide 60 both sides

    -5=x

    xint is at x=-5 or (-5,0)

    yint

    x=0

    y=60 (0) + 300

    y=300

    yint at (0,300)

    xint at x=-5 or (-5,0)

    yint at y=300 or (0,300)

    Make a graph and plot the 300 first which is the Y-intercept bcuz at x=0 the y=300 then you move up 60 and to the right 1 and the x-intercept is - 5 bcuz at - 5 x is 0
