A gold coin weigh 20 grams. If the coin contains gold, copper and tin and in the ratio 4:3:1 how much gold is there in the coin? Explain?

    4 + 3 + 1 = 8

    20 : 8 = 2.5

    since the ratio is 4:3:1 and gold being 4

    4 * 2.5 =

    10

    10 grams
