Pat had 12 apples. He gave each of his friend 3/4 of an apple and kept 3/4 for himself. How many friend were with him? Explain

    0
    3/4=0.75 if you know decmals thats what it is. Then you divide 12 (total apples.) by 0.75 (amount of apple given to friends) and you get an answer. From that answer you take away 1 because Pat kept 3/4 for himself too.
