    f (x) = 3 - 2sin (x)

    0 = 3 - 2sin (x)

    - 3 - 3

    -3 = - 2sin (x)

    -2 - 2

    1¹/₂ = sin (x)

    sin⁻¹ (1¹/₂) = sin⁻¹[sin (x) ]

    sin⁻¹ (1¹/₂) = x
