What is the greatest possible decimal that is greater than 3, but less than 9

    The greatest decimal would be 8.9 because, it is the number before nine but it is larger than three. the nine would have to have the line on top to show a reapeting pattern.

    I would say 8.9 repeating, but 8.9=9 so there isn't one
