The way that i will be solving this problem is called elimination. first you will want to make the x's cancel out (or you can do the y's your choice). you will multiply 3 by (3x+3y=10) which they should give you 9x+9y=30 then you will want to start combining the two equations.

    9x+9y=30

    -9x-9y=-30

    as you know 9x - 9x will equal 0 and 9y-9y will equal 0 and 30-30=0

so since everything in the equations has now canceled out you are left with the answer 0
