Solve: 4 - 17 = 5 ( + 3)

    It would be false because if you do 4-17 it is 13 while 5 (+3) is 15, you get 15 not 8 because if a number has () around them it means to multiply, the + 3 does not mean anything besides telling you that it is a positive not a negative
