    If you are trying to find n you want to move the n factors to one side of the equal sign and the other numbers to the opposite side. so move 3n to the left side giving you 5n+2=59, then move 2 to the right side giving you 5n=57. after you get that do divide by 5 on both sides to get n

    8n+2 = 3n+59

    8n-3n = 59-2

    5n = 57

    n = 57/5
