The doctor orders 2.5 mg/kg of a drug for a child weighing 40.2 lbs. How many mg must you administer?

    2.2lbs = 1kg

    40.2 / 2.2 = weight in kg

    then mulitply the eight in kg by 2.5 to find the mg to be administered
