I love these problems - - you don't have to do math - - it's all just reading and using logic! So we're saying T represents Tuesday. 8 more than can be expressed as what? + 8. A third can be expressed as what? 1/3. What are we splitting into thirds? T. Therefore, 1/3t+8 is your answer.
