The area of a right triangle is 60 ft^2. The base of the triangle is 8ft. What is the length of the hypotenuse. Show your work.

    Triangle area = half (base * height)

    60 sq feet = 4 * height

    height = 60/4

    height = 15

    hyp^2 = leg1^2 + leg2^2

    hyp^2 = 15^2 + 8^2

    hyp^2 = 225 + 64

    hyp^2 = 289

    hypotenuse = 17
