How do I put in the vertex form this equation?. Y=x^2 - 6X+8

    Y = x² - 6 x + 8 = (x² - 6 x + 9) - 9 + 8 =

    = (x - 3) ² - 1

    This is the vertex form of the equation and the vertex is (3, - 1)
