    Let x be the amount of 20% acid

    24-x be the amount of 100% acid

    100% (24-x) + 20% (x) = 50% (24)

    (24-x) +.2x = 12

    12 =.8x

    x=15

    24-x = 9

    ~15 L of 20% acid and 9 L of 100% acid
