Can 1/2 be written as a terminating decimal?

    Yes it can and the answer would be 0.5

    Terminating decimals are numbers that never stop going after the period. Such an example would be 10/3 which would give 3.333333 indefinitely. 1/2 gives a whole number, that is, 0.5
