Which equation, when graphed, has x-intercepts at (8, 0) and (-2, 0) and a y-intercept at (0, - 48) ?

    You need to post the equations.

    I could make a guess and say the equation is:

    (x-8) * (x+2) = 0

    x^2 - 6x - 16 = 0

    and to have a y-intercept of - 48, it should be:

    4x^2 - 24x - 48 = 0
