    1 1/3 cup Milk + X cup CSoup = 2 5/8 coups Soup;

    X = 2 5/8 - 1 1/3 = 21/8 - 4/3 = (21*3 - 4*8) / (3*8) = (63 - 32) / (24) = 31/24 = 1 7/24 cup
