    Every time the function changes sign, it crosses the x-axis, which means an x-intercep. Aslo when the value of the function is zero it is an x-interceot.

    The tables shows two changes of sign (from + 4 to - 3 and from - 3 to + 2). It also has one zero value, then this function has at least three x-intercepts. And you can conclude that the choid b is true.

    Answer: the function has more than one x-intecept.
