Parallel lines have the same slope

    y - y1 = m (x - x1)

    slope (m) = 2/4

    (2,5) ... x1 = 2 and y1 = 5

    now we sub

    y - 5 = 2/4 (x - 2)

now if there is a typo and ur slope is 3/4 ... it would be:

    y - 5 = 3/4 (x - 2)
