What is X + 12=4X-6

    So you first take away the x from the 4x which will become 3 because whenever a variable is by itself you can put a one next to it so back to what I was saying the equation will look like this 12=3x-6 then you go ahead and add the 6 to 12 and remember whatever you do something to one side you also have to do it to the other that would equal 18=3x then you divide and get this answer which is x=6

    X=6. subract 4x to get - 3x+12=-6. subract 12 from each side to get - 3x=-18 then divide by 3 to get x=6
