How would you solve 2x-3y=-1, y=x-1

    Well we could use the substitution method

    2x - 3y=-1

    2x-3 (x-1) = - 1

    simplify

    x=4

    put it back into the other equation

    y=4-1

    y=3

    so your answer is (4,3)
