Find the circumference and the area of a circle with diameter 2 cm. Use the value 3.14 for π, and do not round your answers. Be sure to include the correct units in your answers.

    Circumference = 2*pi*R

    Area = pi * R^2

    Since Diameter=2 cm - - - > Radius is 2 * diameter, so R=4 cm

    Circumference=2*3.14*4 = 25.12 cm

    area=3.14 * (4) ^2 = 50.24 cm^2
