Bill and amy want to ride their bikes from their neighborhood to school which is 14.4 kilometers away. it takes amy 40 minutes to arrive at school. bill arrives 20 mins after amy. how much faster in meters per second is amys average speed for the entire trip?

    14.4km=14400m

    Amy=14400/40=360m/min

    Bill=14400/60=240m/min Subtract Bill's average time from Amy's

    360-240=120m/min Now multiply by 60 to get it in seconds.

    7200m/sec faster than Bill
