    To and from school : 0.6 + 0.6 = 1.2 per day

    for 5 school days : 1.2 x 5 = 6 miles per week

    57.5 cents per mile : 57.5 x 6 = 345 cents = $ 3.45

    not exactly sure how to make it an equation

    y = 57.5x ... where x = number of miles per week and y = total cost

    I am not 100% sure on this equation ... kinda seems like there should be more ... sorry
