Two trains leave stations 238 miles apart at the same time and travel toward each other. One train travels at 95 miles per hour while the other travels at 75 miles per hour. How long will it take for the two trains to meet. Do not round

    The speed at which they are approaching each other is 95 + 75 = 170 mph.

    so the required time = 238/170 = 1.4 hours (or 1 hour 24 minutes). I hope they were not on the same line!
