Bananas cost $0.49 per pound and grapes cost $1.15 per pound. Leanne bought 3.5 pounds of bananas and 2.4 pounds of grapes. How much did she pay for the bananas and grapes?

    (.49*3.5) + (1.15*2.4) = 1.72+2.76=$4.52
