A bag of pennies could be divided among 6 children, or 7 children, or 8 children with each getting the same number, and with one penny left over in each case. What is the smallest number of pennies that could be in the bag?

    The answer should be 169. use the least common factor of 6 7 8 which will be 2 3 7 4 multiply them together and add one which is 169
