Employees of a discount appliance store receive an additional 20% off of the lowest price on an item. If an employee purchases a dishwasher during a 15% off sale, how much will he pay if the dishwasher originally cost $450?

    If the original dishwasher costed $450 dollars it would be marked down to $306.

    (20% of 450 = 360 | 15% of 360 = 306)

    Your answer is 292.5 because you do, 20 plus 15 then put that into decimal form. Your answer becomes. 35 Then you multiply 450 times. 35 and get 157.5. You then subtract 157.5 from 450 then you get, 292.5
